Robert Mapplethorpe was an American photographer who was most known for his black-and-white images, known for the depth of field he created through lighting. He often worked on self-portraits, still life, nudes, or celebrity portraits. This project was done to become accustomed to studio lighting by studying Mapplethorpe's work.
